file Question Computer freezes up on hwset

11 years 2 months ago - 11 years 2 months ago #164 by N
Really been looking forward to running this program, have tried beta 17 and now 18 and still no luck. Did log the initial setup, and thought might be problem as when it got close to end my computer would freeze. Same if I try running the program. However I noticed when I had UAC enabled and tried to run it without admin it started but gave an error saying I needed to run it in administrator mode. Computer is i5 3570k, nvidia gtx 680 2g, 16g ram and windows 8 pro /mc 64bit. If any help would appreciate it.

Hi!

Do you use a program called hwinfo32 or hwinfo64? If yes then please update it to latest version or shut down during installation of our benchmark.
Thanks!

Haven't used the program before, but went and installed it and same thing on trying to open it freezes up my computer. So looks like I might have to look elsewhere as what is causing it to freeze on those instances.

Thank you, after going through hwinfo found out it was stock win8 sata drivers that were causing it to freeze up.
