Ci2e,
Do you have an intel chipset as well as windows 8? My issue was the stock windows 8 driver sata drivers weren't good and had to get all the drivers of the intel website.

N,
Yeah, but I've updated the firmware of the SSD to the latest version, as well as downloading the Intel INF Update, both confirmed an update completed. Attempted to check for drivers via the device manager for the SSD and Windows reports best drivers already installed. Restarted my system and attempted to re-install Catzilla and getting the exact same issue. Although now I've noticed the Catzilla installation wizard got a bit further and even stated finalizing installation and then everything froze.
After downloading Samsung Magician it reports that AHCI is not enabled but I've checked the UEFI BIOS and in fact it is. Even so I don't think this would be the cause of the issue. I've already had issues with the motherboard and already sent it back for repair and it works but I had to disable all fan controllers otherwise the computer beeps like hell thinking a fan is not working. I know for a fact I'll never buy ASUS again.

Hi!
Did you try to uninstall hwinfo64? Also Your system may freeze to up to 30 seconds during installation. It depends on
amount of your peripherals.
Cheers!

Yes it un-installed fine, I'll go ahead and try to install Catzilla again and give it a good minute to see if it recovers from the freeze.
I gave it about 5 minutes before hard resetting. Never recovered from the freeze.
I know this is because of the SSD because I had no issues running Catzilla prior to owning an SSD.
Thanks for the help guys anything else I should try?

I'm guessing the reason I'm having this issue is because of the addition of HWBOT, correct? I never had issues using Catzilla in the past. Any way I can get a vanilla version without third party software included?

Thanks for the info. We will contact Martin from HWINFO to send us the latest update and we'll check it out. I don't think it has anything to do with HWBOT, since we handle hwbot from the website only
