Hello,
when I am in the benchmark menu of the new 1.0 version and click on start benchmark, the following error occurs:
Application error: Exception EInvalidOp in module atioglxx.dll at 00E464FA
Also I stil cannot choose directx in the configuration menu, only opengl, why is that?
My configuration:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
3GB DDR2-800 RAM
MSI AMD Radeon HD4890
Microsoft Windows XP SP3 32-bit with Catalyst 13.4 beta and DirectX 9.0c

Unfortunately this has nothing to do with the beta driver for the graphic card. I got the same error message also with the normal XP 13.1 Legacy Driver for my ATI 4890.

Hi,
Sorry for keep you waiting with the reply. Please write me how much GPU VRAM do you have on the card. It's probably all because of lack of memory . Your rig is quite old you know .

Hello,
okay, here the amount of RAM (graphic card) : 1GB GDDR5 RAM - but I doubt that this is the reason, because also many 5870 and 6870 cards have "only" 1GB of GDDR5 RAM, then they would also have the same error, no?

So are you trying to say that it works on R5xxx and R6xxx and it doesn't on R4xxx?
