Why is this benchmark working better on NV card ??
Did programmers got paid more by NV to promote their cards ??
When in REAL life applications 680 and 7970 are on pair more or less.
In your Benchmark NV cards DESTROY all of amd cards.
So I am asking THE question WHY??
You do know that Benchmark scores affect sales of cards.
i can see something like this going on.
Costumer and sales guys in store.
Hi mate should i buy 680 or 7970 i seen some tests and they sem equal more or less.
Seller. Have you seen newest Catzilla test results ?? NV cards are so much faster in games and programs than Amd ones.
Guy buys more expensive NV card thinking that it will run so much faster than on AMD.

Hi!
Our benchmark combines GPU and CPU for final result. So 6 core CPU ie socket LGA 2011 Intel CPU will have much better results with GTX 680 than for example i7 2600K with AMD 7970. The cards perfrom pretty much the same in single card mode. We have a bug with crossfire that we want to fix, so crossfire configs may not perform perfectly.
As I look into your results they seem to work fine. Your card 7950 is comparable to GTX670 with the same processor. It's not comparable to GTX660Ti with i7 processor thou. It's not a GPU benchmark but overall system benchmark and also HDD speed does matter for the final result.
Cheers!

Thanks for the info, maybe that's why i got almost 200 more point by using RamDisk, kinda felt like I'm cheating though (can not beat the 4gb gtx680's score for the life of me)

A 680, or even a 670 will w/o problem beat a 7970, All running on the exact same system, everyone know's this. Specially now that we have hw bot stats,
And it's a shame if you guys don't see that and fix it. Or it's destined to go down the drain, no one will use it because it's not relevant as a comparison(in reviews etc)
And that'd be a shame cuz it's got potential to be a good bench.

Hi Peter,
I do not worry about it. Currently 1st place for 720P and 576P tests are Radeons. So there's no manipulation.
