Since this benchmark depends on vram speed, I am asking if 1.65V or 1.7V is dangeros for a 1.5V-default vram?
What if card's default is 1.6V for the 1.5V memory? Does this mean we can change to 1.7 safely?

Hynix VRAM on the 7970's at least are specced at 1600Mhz 1600mV. My Matrix comes stock with VRAM @1650Mhz 1600mV,
There's not a whole lot of headroom for OC(150-200Mhz, and it doesn't help that much, the bandwith seems plenty) Adding more than 50-60mV tends to give me artifacts.
Just keep an eye on the temps and you're fine.
